Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over your data.

Last updated: April 2026

1. Information We Collect

When you place an order or interact with Lyze Labs™, we collect only the information needed to fulfil that interaction:

  • Identification: name and email address provided when you contact us or place an order.
  • Shipping: shipping address and any handling instructions you supply.
  • Payment: payment is processed by third-party providers. We never see or store full card numbers; we receive only a transaction reference.
  • Technical: anonymized analytics signals such as page views, device type, country, and referral source.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To fulfil orders and arrange international shipping.
  • To provide order updates, support, and respond to inquiries.
  • To improve product quality, the catalog, and the site experience.
  • To comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.

Lyze Labs does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

3. Cookies & Analytics

Lyze Labs uses a small set of analytics tools to understand how researchers use the site and to improve it. These include:

  • Google Analytics 4: anonymized traffic and page-level engagement data.
  • Meta Pixel: conversion measurement for advertising campaigns.
  • Functional cookies: currency preference, cart contents, and dismissed banners.

You can disable cookies in your browser at any time. Some features such as cart persistence will not work if cookies are fully disabled.

4. Third-Party Services

We share the minimum data required with vetted third-party service providers:

  • Payment processors to settle transactions.
  • Shipping carriers to deliver your order and provide tracking.
  • Analytics providers as listed in section 3.

Each provider is contractually obliged to use your data only for the service it provides to Lyze Labs.

5. Data Retention

Order records are retained for as long as required to fulfil the order, support warranty claims, and comply with accounting, tax, and customs obligations. Inactive customer records are then minimised or deleted on a rolling basis.

6. Your Rights

You may at any time request that Lyze Labs:

  • Confirm what personal data we hold about you.
  • Provide a copy of that data in a portable format.
  • Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
  • Delete your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Restrict or object to specific processing activities.

Send any of these requests to privacy@lyzelabs.com. We aim to respond within thirty days.

7. GDPR & EU Customers

If you are located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another GDPR-aligned jurisdiction, you have the rights set out in section 6 above plus the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. The legal basis for our processing is the performance of the sales contract you enter into when you place an order, and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
