Provisions

  1. Every instrument used for a release determination is on a calibration schedule with a named interval
  2. Calibration is against traceable reference standards, and the certificate is retained
  3. Analytical balances, pH meters and HPLC systems are checked with system suitability before each analytical run
  4. An instrument outside calibration invalidates results generated since its last passing check, and those batches are re-analysed
  5. Calibration records are retained for the life of the instrument plus the retention period
Scope. This document forms part of the Lyze Labs quality system and applies to research reference material supplied for in vitro laboratory use. It is not a marketing authorisation, a regulatory approval, or a claim that material may be used in humans.

Document control. LZ-SOP-QC-08 is an internal controlled document reference in the Lyze Labs namespace. It is not an accreditation or certification number issued by an external body. A superseded revision is archived rather than destroyed, so what was in force on any given date can be established.
